CBA/MIT Research Trip - How to Try Alot of Almost Anything
This talk will be a retrospective and review of Ekaterina Kormilitsyna's current research conducted at CBA, MIT Media Lab, her collaboration with NIST into DIY biofoundaries and the beginnings of an artist exploration into a sustained conversation around ethics and synthetic biology research and how this can inform - in an actionable way - how we plan and perform our experiments not only from the perspective of what is possible but also from the perspective of our lived experience as humans individually and collectively in a shared environment.
As well as her ongoing and future research into folklore and community and how this intersects with food and interspecies actions.
