Finnish Art & Science Residency in Tokyo

The Tokyo Art & Science Research Residency is a collaboration between BioClub Tokyo, SOLU - The Finnish Bioart Society and the Finnish Institute in Japan. The residency covers travel and a 1-month stay in Tokyo. Open calls are usually released in spring, and the residence period can be chosen by the artist. This residency is only open to Finnish nationals and artists based Finland.

I am not an artist, can I still apply for a residency?

Our residencies are as open as possible, whether you're an artist, scientist, maker, or researcher. The most important thing is that you engage with the BioClub Community and do something weird wonderful.
