Date: September 15th 2026, 00:00 JST
Location: Zoom Only

How to Biomanufacture (Almost) Anything - or HTBAA - is the new and excting sister-course to the long-running HTGAA, The course is organized by David Kong from the MIT Community Biotechnology Initiative (CBI) and is run both at MIT and globally through an expanding network of global HTBAA nodes. If you are curious about Synthetic Biology & Cloud Labs and OpenTrons - and are willing to study hard - please come and join us! The course if free!

Who is the course for?

The course will be a technical introduction to the field of Synthetic Biology, but the course is also aimed at Artists, Designers and Makers, and those who are curious about Biology - but did not necessarily had a chance to study it. At BioClub we are especially interested in in Art & Biology and we would be very happy to support Artists in taking this course!

How is HTBAA different to HTGAA?

HTBAA is a shorter version of HTGAA, focusing on Synthetic Biology, Cloud Labs and Robots - and what we (as scientists, artists, designers, makers, citizens) can, should - and - should not - do with them. HTBAA will not issues certificates, your documentation will be proof of your participation. HTBAA will be more a Journal Club, you active participation is required.
