Novel materials derived from bacterial activity. Certain bacteria excrete an extracellular matrix network to shield themselves from environmental stress. Among these, cellulose—commonly known as bacterial cellulose—forms intricate networks, offering the potential to produce high-quality materials. Our project focuses on developing innovative materials using bacterial cellulose.
